Other exfoliants (fruit seeds, polyethylene, Alpha Hydroxy Acids,...) can over-abrade and strip skin unnecessarily, causing irritation, redness, swelling, itching and sensitivity to sunlight.
In contrast, Kirei's time-tested formulation buffs only the cornified, outermost skin cells (of stratum corneum) without stripping — while nourishing cell bonds of inner layers, promoting healthier new growth.
No additives, preservatives, colorings or fragrances. Not tested on animals and cruelty-free.
For all skin types.
|Ingredients:||Japanese Azuki powder
Okinawan marine clay
|Kirei Azuki and Clay Enzyme Scrub Economy Pack|
Wet skin with lukewarm water.
Place about 15 shakes into palm.
Apply in soft circular motion, avoiding eyes area.
Rinse well with lukewarm water. Moisturize.
TIP: Kirei cleanses skin naturally. It is not necessary to mix it with other cleansers. However, if you have a favorite soap or facial cleanser, you can also use it by mixing Kirei with lather.
Also called "adzuki", is the small, reddish-brown Japanese legume. Its powder is one of the most important ingredients in Japanese skincare, used for facewash and for nourishing skin since the Nara period (710-794 AD).
Azuki is rich in a complex sugar-based cleanser called Saponin, a natural foam-forming soap substitute, and vitamin B9 (also known as Folate or Folic acid), an important compound for healthy cell growth.
Is a very soft mineral-rich fine powder. It contains Montmorillonite (pronounced mon-morilo-nite), a pure form of Bentonite clay, also used in non-chemical treatment of skin disorders such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Okinawan marine clay forms a smooth emulsion when mixed with water, producing large amounts of negative ions which attract and draw out skin's toxins.

Used twice a week, i use it just like instructed and it's a really nice and smooth scrub. it leaves my skin really bright and have noticed my skin getting clearer. i'm using this with the 28 Day Tip Kit, using the Yomogi Soap [Made a Review for this as well] and Rice Bran Revitalizer.. so it might be a combo of them all but my skin has never been/felt better! im really happy, lol

I like to use this scrub once or twice a week. I love how it does not contain coarse grains and does not feel abrasive to my sensitive skin. (I have acne-prone skin which usually does not respond to scrubs very well.) This product feels creamy when mixed with the right amount of water and only needs to be massaged into your skin very gently. Kirei works so much better than anything else I have used to exfoliate. My skin looks and feels great afterward. And this scrub also smells delicious!

I also received a sample of the Azuki Bean Scrub with my last Wawaza order. I was afraid that it would be one of those exfoliants where you have to harshly scrub your face, but luckily it's not the case! This product is truly wonderful. It gently exfoliates, without harming the skin. I recommend for all skin types.

Years ago, when I heard about azuki bean facial scrub the first time, I didn't know Wawaza yet. And as I did not find an all natural product I even tried to produce it myself. Without achieving a really satisfying result...
To cut a long story short, I absolutely love the Wawaza azuki bean facial scrub. It is the most gentle, finely ground scrub I ever used. Makes my skin soft and luminous. And I love the smell.

I received a sample of the Kirei Scrub with my last order. Usually my skin can 't tolerate any manual exfoliant such as konjac sponges or any grainy exfoliant. I tried lots and lots of exfoliations. And this one not only handles my skin well but makes my skin amazingly luminous! love it!

This facial scrub is very gentle and didn't cause my sensitive skin to break out. My face feels so soft and looks brighter in comparison to other scrubs which usually left my skin dried out. It smells wonderful too. I wish I would've discovered Wawaza sooner!! The package also arrived very quickly for international delivery and everything came in perfect condition. Thank you so much for a great product and great service-definitely happy with my purchase and will be back soon :D

well i have that kind of skin that NEEDS to be scrubbed everyday. this is the perfect scrub for me to use. my skin is combination/oily, so i need to moisturize and exfoliate everyday. this is gentle enough to use everyday, but effective enough that it scrubs away all my dead skin. most scrubs are too harsh or too soft, this is just right. i love love love this scrub and it left my skin deeply cleansed and baby soft!

I've been waiting for so long to write this review! Why? Because I was not quite fond of scrub products. My skin is sensitive and whenever I used scrub, it gave scratch marks and hurt my face T___T That's why I need quite a long time to see the result for this product hehe XD
AND HELL YEAH HOW COULD ALL WAWAZA PRODUCTS NEVER FAIL ME!!!...Ehem...In short, this natural scrub doesn't cause any allergic reaction nor hurt my skin! Especially I love the micro texture! Totally micro-sized that it melts on your skin and somehow I could feel it cleanses till the very depth of the pores! My skin feels super baby-smooth after the first use!
OMG I can't believe this! I was about to give review immediately due to excitement but finally I decided to wait for a little longer ^____^ Now I've been using Kirei for a month and a half (twice weekly) and whoaaa I'm very satisfied with the result :) My dead skin cells are gone! GONE! And my blackheads are greatly reduced! (though not all coz the blackheads are stubborn ugh) I always had problem with blackheads on my nose and used pore strips to remove them almost everyday (yeah, it gave irritation but I couldn't do anything T_T). But since I've used Kirei, I only use the strips once a week yay!
Another forte from Kirei, the smell is very yummy! I always love nutty scent and wonder if it's really edible...hehe...Anyway I can't find any flaws from this product :D Surprisingly a little goes a long way (just don't use too much water though or it'll melt quickly) I think it can last longer than 30 applications ^____^

I was hesitant whether to review this product at this moment as I only have used it for a week as of right now (2x). However, I think it is worth reviewing as it showed great results right from the start! :)
I received a free sample of this product along with my seaweed/camelia oil hair kit that I bought from WAWAZA. It only lasts for up to 5 applications but I only use it around my nose and upper cheek area (this are the areas where I have visible pores or any blackheads). So, I think it will last me for a few more applications than suggested. :)
I use about 1/4 teaspoon of product which I mix with water until pasty and then apply to my nose and cheeks. I rub it very gently as if I was washing my face with it, then remove it with water and gently dry it with a clean towel. Both times that I have used it, the pores around my nose and cheeks clear up and diminish. The first time I applied vitamin E face cream as my moisturizer and my skin look nice and clean the next morning, however the second time I applied Bijin rice bran oil to my face as the moisturizer and the next morning my nose area had a few visible blackheads. :(
So, why give a product like that 5 stars? Very simple, the product itself does as it states on the description. It cleans your pores and exfoliates. My moisturizer was the one at fault here not the azuki bean facial scrub, as it did work well with vitamin E face cream but not the oil. Overall is a great product but I will have to further test it with my moisturizers as I prefer to use a natural oil at night and face cream throughout the day. :)

This facial scrub is extremely fine-grained and gentle on the skin, even for delicate, sensitive, rosacea prone complexion. A little goes a long way to make your skin baby smooth and soft.

All natural facial scrub is fairly rare. The pores on my nose looks much smaller after washing with this product. I don't want to put any chemical on my skin, so it's really great.
