Japanese women for generations have used pure rice bran oil for keeping their legendary skin soft, moisturized and glowing. A high compliment to give to a beautiful lady in Japan is to call her "Nuka Bijin" (literally "rice bran beauty").
Vitamins - Exceptionally high in skin-loving Tocotrienol (the "super" vitamin E) as well as vitamins B1 (Thiamin) and B3 (Niacin).
Melanin and Dry Skin - The only known source of an antioxidant called Gamma-oryzanol. Based on scientific research, this remarkable compound has the ability to reduce skin's melanin levels, and to regulate skin's sebum production (sebaceous glands), preventing dry skin and skin irritations.
Squalene - Rice bran is rich in Squalene, a natural lubricant and skin barrier which helps slow moisture loss and keep skin soft and supple. Squalene comprises about 12% of healthy skin's sebum. Its levels peak in our early 20s and then decline rapidly.
Dispense 1 pump at a time into palm and spread well. Apply to face and body skin as needed.
Place a small amount onto mascara, eye shadow or lipstick with fingertips. Gently pat and massage in soft circular motion to dissolve makeup. Use a soft tissue or cotton pad to 'lift off' makeup. Repeat as needed. Wash and rinse as usual.
Apply a small amount to maintain lips nourished, soft and moisturized.
Rice bran oil for beauty application must be free of chemicals and must contain the fullest possible amount of its natural anti-oxidants and nutrients.
Cold pressing, a labor-intensive mechanical process, ensures that the maximum possible amount of oil's character and nutritional content are preserved.
Cold pressed rice bran oil is produced by mechanically pressing the bran at low temperatures. This is a labor intensive process which preserves the maximum possible amount of the oil's original character and nutritional content. Cold pressing delivers only about 20-30% of the available oil contained in the bran.
While Europe has rigorous standards in place for the terminology of cold pressing, similar phrases such as "cold filtered" have been used erroneously, especially in the U.S. and Australia, often employed as a marketing technique. "Cold filtered" oils are not necessarily cold pressed. They could very well have been processed at high heat and using chemicals, and then filtered after being cooled.
Unrefined oils are ones that have not been subjected to extreme heat or chemicals for controlling color and scent. They maintain the maximum amount of oil's original character, and are untainted by chemicals.
Large manufacturers need to control the batch-to-batch differences in their supply chain to make the final product uniform. They employ various "refining" techniques for this purpose.
Refining allows control of color and scent of oil by using combination of chemical, filtration or heat processing.
Refined oils are less expensive to produce, since the process makes it possible to make the final product always uniform and look and feel the same, regardless of using different grade oils.
Refined oils lose important nutrients and antioxidants in the process. Depending on the type of the refining process, there is also the possibility that trace amount of chemicals remain in the finished oil.
Our Bijin™ Pure Rice Bran Facial and Body Oil is extracted by cold pressing, without employing the use of heat, solvents, Hexane, alcohol or chemical refining.

The oil is extremely soothing and relaxing for the face. I love the oil so much that I use it after showering at the gym and at home. I am already recommending it to friends and family also. It is working out just great for me. Especially for under the eyes where the skin is most sensitive and thin.
The only issue has been the cap of the dispenser (the clear cap that covers the white top) which does not firmly sit in at the neck of the container.
** WAWAZA says: Dear customer, thank you for your wonderful comments. Also, we will definitely look into improving the seal of the clear cap.

This oil is so much lighter than I thought. It goes to my skin so quickly and does not leave any sticky feeling. It really absorbs not only so quickly but also so naturally. Sometimes I forget that I used the rice bran oil on my skin.
Great around eyes!! The dark circles under my eyes are gone, gone, gone!! Wrinkles around eyes are diminishing too!
So pleased that I found this rare oil!
