Different Ways to Apply
The Japanese traditional way is to apply it as a facial treatment with an applicator bag made from soft, fine-mesh Japanese sarashi cotton.
You can also mix it with water to make a brightening face wash, apply it as a hydrating facial mask, or use it as a facial cleanser mixed with a mild soap or your cleanser.

How to Use
Apply the Traditional Japanese Way
Use the included sash bag to apply Shiro Nuka as a facial treatment. (See the step-by-step illustration in the product photo gallery).
- Fill the sash bag and knead it in lukewarm water.
- Apply to the face and neck in slow, circular motions. Start from the T-zone and move outward.
- Apply to hands, arms, and elbows as desired.
- Use the resulting milky-white water to wash your face, neck, hands, and arms.
- Rinse with clean, lukewarm water.
- Rinse the bag and hang it to dry.
Use as a Face Wash
Mix one tablespoon in 4 cups of lukewarm water. Wash your face and neck with the mixture. Rinse well.
Mix with Your Soap or Cleanser
Mix a small amount (less than 1/4 teaspoon) into your cleanser's lather using your fingertips. Wash and rinse your face as usual.
Apply as a Facial Mask
Mix two flat teaspoons with enough lukewarm water to make a paste. Apply evenly on the face. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well.

I use this product twice daily (a.m./p.m.) to cleanse my face. It’s a gentle exfoliant for someone who doesn’t use makeup, but definitely applies a serum and Wawaza rice oil moisturizer after cleansing.

Excellent
I have been using the rice bran for almost two weeks using the face wash method in the evening before bed. The improvement in my skin is very noticeable. The tone has become very even, with discolouration from UV damage and acne scars reducing everyday. I live in a humid climate at this time of year which results in facial breakouts but now I almost have none. It initially felt like you aren’t doing anything useful as we have been so trained (in the West) to use harsh cosmetics on our face, but after the second day it was obvious that this is an excellent product with cumulative benefits when used daily.

Makes my skin really glow.
I have been using Shiro nuka for two months now. I use this twice a week with the cotton bags(which is included in the packet) and it really makes my skin glow a lot. It also soothes my skin and makes it very soft. I really recommend it to people to include it in their skincare, it certainly makes a big difference.

I’ve tried different things from Wawaza, and I’m sooo happy that I found this website. All the products feel very natural, giving the results straight away.
