Different Ways to Apply

The Japanese traditional way is to apply it as a facial treatment with an applicator bag made from soft, fine-mesh Japanese sarashi cotton.

You can also mix it with water to make a brightening face wash, apply it as a hydrating facial mask, or use it as a facial cleanser mixed with a mild soap or your cleanser.

How to Use

Apply the Traditional Japanese Way

Use the included sash bag to apply Shiro Nuka as a facial treatment. (See the step-by-step illustration in the product photo gallery).

1. Fill the sash bag and knead it in lukewarm water.
2. Apply to the face and neck in slow, circular motions. Start from the T-zone and move outward.
3. Apply to hands, arms, and elbows as desired.
4. Use the resulting milky-white water to wash your face, neck, hands, and arms.
5. Rinse with clean, lukewarm water.
6. Rinse the bag and hang it to dry.

Use as a Face Wash

Mix one tablespoon in 4 cups of lukewarm water. Wash your face and neck with the mixture. Rinse well.

Mix with Your Soap or Cleanser

Mix a small amount (less than 1/4 teaspoon) into your cleanser's lather using your fingertips. Wash and rinse your face as usual.

Apply as a Facial Mask

Mix two flat teaspoons with enough lukewarm water to make a paste. Apply evenly on the face. Leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well.
