About Azuki and Okinawan Marine Clay

Azuki, also called "adzuki", is a small, reddish-brown edible legume. According to historical records, Japanese women have used its powder to exfoliate their much-admired complexion at least since the Nara period (710-794 AD).

Azuki contains a natural cleanser compound called Saponin, and vitamin B9 (Folic acid) which promotes healthy cell growth.

Okinawan marine clay is soft mineral-rich powder found in limited areas off Okinawa's coast which attracts impurities and draws out skin's toxins.

    Immediate visible results!

I was hesitant whether to review this product at this moment as I only have used it for a week as of right now (2x). However, I think it is worth reviewing as it showed great results right from the start! :) I received a free sample of this product along with my seaweed/camelia oil hair kit that I bought from WAWAZA. It only lasts for up to 5 applications but I only use it around my nose and upper cheek area (this are the areas where I have visible pores or any blackheads). So, I think it will last me for a few more applications than suggested. :) I use about 1/4 teaspoon of product which I mix with water until pasty and then apply to my nose and cheeks. I rub it very gently as if I was washing my face with it, then remove it with water and gently dry it with a clean towel. Both times that I have used it, the pores around my nose and cheeks clear up and diminish. The first time I applied vitamin E face cream as my moisturizer and my skin look nice and clean the next morning, however the second time I applied Bijin rice bran oil to my face as the moisturizer and the next morning my nose area had a few visible blackheads. :( So, why give a product like that 5 stars? Very simple, the product itself does as it states on the description. It cleans your pores and exfoliates. My moisturizer was the one at fault here not the azuki bean facial scrub, as it did work well with vitamin E face cream but not the oil. Overall is a great product but I will have to further test it with my moisturizers as I prefer to use a natural oil at night and face cream throughout the day. :)

    Very fine

This facial scrub is extremely fine-grained and gentle on the skin, even for delicate, sensitive, rosacea prone complexion. A little goes a long way to make your skin baby smooth and soft.

    All natural is very nice

All natural facial scrub is fairly rare. The pores on my nose looks much smaller after washing with this product. I don't want to put any chemical on my skin, so it's really great.
