About Hinoki
Hinoki is a fragrant species of cypress native to Japan, a majestic evergreen conifer widely known and appreciated throughout the country.
Hinoki's aroma contains compounds called phytoncides, which have been studied for antimicrobial activity and effects on relaxation and well-being.
In 1982, Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries introduced shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) to encourage people to spend time walking in nature.
Today, forest bathing is widely practiced in Japan and is also used in some preventive health and therapeutic settings.

Hinoki cypress bath kit
Everything came quickly from Japan to Switzerland. All was well wrapped and in excellent state. The kind attention of the compliment slip with the Japanese crane origami has been extremely well appreciated. The craft that Japanese makers put in everything is extraordinary.
