Funori, a triple-seaweed Japanese traditional formulation, is an all-natural alternative to chemical-based hair care products. It cleanses and conditions your hair, leaving it smoother, more manageable and healthier. You will see the difference after just one use.
If you enjoy lathering when you wash your hair, you can also mix Funori with your favorite shampoo for a luxurious cleansing experience.
Safe for all hair types and does not affect hair color, including color-treated hair.
One pack is enough for 30 applications for typical shoulder-length hair. You can also apply Funori as a deep treatment, providing about 12 applications per pack.

About Funori
Seaweed is the general term for many species of marine algae. We make our Funori from three important Japanese seaweeds, and nothing else:
- Fukuro-Funori, also known as jelly moss (Gloiopeltis furcata)
- Ma-Kombu, the edible kombu (Saccharina japonica)
- Mekabu, the nutrient-rich roots of Wakame seaweed (Undaria pinnatifida)
The above are notable for their content of calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin K — and importantly iodine and Fucoidan.
Funori is an abundant source of iodine, the deficiency of which plays a significant role in thyroid gland irregularities, resulting in dry hair, thinness, poor hair growth, and hair loss.
Funori is also known to reduce hair loss and promote new growth in some individuals. The Fucoidan polysaccharide in Funori has demonstrated ability to alleviate dryness and promote healthy hair growth cycle.

How to Use
❤ Cleanse and Conditioner the Japanese Traditional Way
Add 1 teaspoon of Funori to 1 cup of hot water in a small container and mix well. A squeeze bottle will work great. Use your own or buy one here.
- Rinse hair with lukewarm water.
- Apply Funori. Massage gently onto scalp with fingertips.
- Cleanse hair with straight strokes. Don’t use circular motions which can tangle your hair.
- Rinse well.

❤ Deep Treatment
Prepare mixture as in above, using a little less than half as much water. This will make the mixture a little more gel-like, so that it will not drip down your neckline.
- Wash hair as normal (without using the mixture).
- Towel dry.
- Apply mixture.
- Cover hair with cap for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse well.
❤ Mix with Your Favorite Shampoo
If you like foam and lather, or if you have a favorite shampoo you like to use, you can add the benefits of Funori to your shampoo:
- Prepare mixture as in above.
- Add 2 to 3 teaspoon of shampoo and mix well.
- Wash and rinse hair as usual.

FEEL LIKE A PRINCESS!!
Thank you Wawaza for sending me this product! ^_^ I didn't really take care of my hair but as you know, since I bought Aya Camellia Oil my mind has changed and now hair is one of my beauty priorities XD I mix this product with a little shampoo (because I simply love lathers lol), but just very little so the most benefit from Funori is still there. AND YEAHHHH!!! Now I got shiny, moisturized hair! Most of all, no more hairfall! This product is a perfect match with Aya oil (which I've been using for 2 months)! I highly recommend you to buy Funori along with Aya because they're simply a match from heaven! I think they are the best hair products especially if you have dry and damaged hair like mine. I always had problems with hairfall and tried several products that did nothing so I was like 'Oh well, let them just fall, after all I have thick hair and it's impossible for me to be bald.' But now my once-tortured-now-healthy-hair sends its biggest gratitude to Wawaza!! Anyway, I love the herbs scent! My New Hair-care Staple
I have used this product in all suggested ways - First as a deep conditioner (for my dry, processed, fine hair), then used alone as a shampoo/conditioner and finally, mixed with my shampoo. IT WORKS! Simply Awesome
Love it! I have been using seaweed for some time now and would recommend it to everyone. I'm so glad I found someone who can ship to the midwestern US. Funori is impossible to find locally. I have very fine hair but it leaves it feeling clean and with great volume. I usually don't even have to use styling products when I use this wash. Just make sure to rinse really well.

Simply Amazing!
Skeptical at first, so i used this with my usual shampoo and conditioning. I liked the result and then next day, I tried it by itself, no shampoo, no conditioning. The result... Wow. I really liked it. Much better without shampoo. No itchiness on my sculpt, my hair is bouncier and smoother. I'm gonna use this without shampoo/conditioner for a while.
