We age this soap for a full six months. The result is a mild, solid bar which lasts and does not melt quickly.

About Japanese Rice Bran
Rice bran is a cornerstone of Japanese skincare. It is the only known source of an antioxidant called Gamma-oryzanol which reduces skin's melanin levels, and regulates its sebum production, thus preventing dry skin and irritations.
It is also notable for its high content of Tocotrienol, the so-called "super" vitamin E, as well as an array of vitamins including B1 (Thiamin) and B3 (Niacin).
The plant squalene in rice bran is a natural lubricant which also forms a protective barrier to slow skin's moisture loss.

Absolutely amazing for dry skin
This is the best soap I have tried so far. It is even better than any body wash I have had in the past. It's gentle, but cleanses the skin thoroughly, doesn't dry my already dry and sensitive skin out, and as a bonus it evens out the tone.

makes my skin soft
Most soaps and cleansers dehydrate my skin and I easily get flaky and itchy areas around the mouth. This soap cleanses very thoroughly without drying and it makes my skin soft. I'm using it for four weeks now, every evening (I don't use anything but water in the morning) and I start to notice that the tone of my skin looks more even than before. I cut the soap in two pieces because I find it easer to handle.
