Japanese Rice Bran Toning Soap

I am very picky with soap bars on my face, I've found ONE bar soap in the US that didn't strip my face, besides my homemade bar soap, but I don't always like making my own at home. So I got a sample of this soap when I ordered the camellia oil, and it's my new favorite bar soap for my face! It truly did tone and calm my skin, removed dark spots and redness. I tried the yomogi soap too, but this one I feel works better for my skin. I hope to keep ordering this soap forever! Thank you Wawaza for a great soap!

This soap does exactly what it says it will. It's an added benefit that it works fast. I bought this soap to help even out my skin from dark spots and tan lines. I wanted to wait until I used the product for a while before I posted a review. This soap works fast in evening out your skin. I would say for tan lines it works within a couple of days. For me, others noticed a difference in my skin within the first use. I was not expecting overnight results, but it's a plus. Everyone's skin is different, so don't be discouraged if it takes longer for visible results. The soap definitely works in the long run. For dark spots it lightens but it takes more time to completely get rid of the spot. So if your using for dark spots give it time. This soap has a natural/ herbal smell and a very clean scent. Overall, 10/10. I have not tried the other soaps yet, but I will continue using this one.

I use this soap for bathing and it really has changed my skin a lot. My skin was very dry since I never used hydrating products on my body skin. This soap does a really good job to even out my skin tone and leaves my skin hydrated. It also comes in bigger size compared to other soaps and so is perfect for bathing.

I like it a lot for my face. And have used on my body as well with no bad reactions to my skin. Would recommend this to anyone who needs a cleansing soap for their face.

I received a sample with my rice bran oil, and what a great combo. My skin feels hydrated, supple, smooth and calmed. It even took the redness out. So I ordered a full size. I love the simplicity of using soap but have always been disappointed in the results when used on the face, until now. This soap lives up to its name - it really tones the face and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I bought this soap after developing an allergic reaction to another brand of skincare. This soap, particularly when combined with the Shiro Nuka, quickly calmed the inflammation on my face. So glad I found this soap and Wawaza. Thank you for such a wonderfully beneficial product.

This soap bar is fantastic. From the moment I first smelled it it's clear that it has no additives - It just has that soapy, nothing-to-it scent. The bar is huge, so it's a great value for its cost. The only funny thing I can point out is that it feels a little sticky sometimes, but given that it has no additives I don't mind this. I've used it morning and night for the past two weeks, unless I didn't need to go out and thus needn't apply sunscreen and/or makeup, in which case I never do anything to my skin. At night I follow washing with Bijin Rice Bran Oil (I'll leave a review of it soon, too) for extra nourishment, but in the mornings I apply nothing else afterwards (except sunscreen when I go out) because I feel my skin doesn't need it at all. It cleans my skin perfectly and makes it so soft! I keep trying not to touch my face because it feels so nice after washing it, plus it doesn't dehydrate it either, which other natural soaps (or as natural as they claim to be) have done, leaving me with dry patches all over. It also soothes my angry hormonal breakouts, reducing the redness and inflammation enough that I don't feel so self-conscious about those awful whiteheads, and I've also noticed that the red spots from past breakouts, which seemed to never go away, are slowly vanishing. Shipping was amazingly fast. I expected my order to arrive in at least two to three weeks, but I had it in one. Every item was in perfect condition and packaged with so much care I couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised. Lastly, the customer service was simply excellent! It was kind, graceful and always quick and efficient in answering all my doubts. I should add patient, too, given that I asked Hanako about a million things and she always replied kind and promptly. Thank you, Hanako, for your kindness and refinement when dealing with customers, as it speaks volumes of how the heart of Wawaza works and enhances the beauty of Wawaza's products, and thanks to the entire Wawaza team for these excellent and mindfully crafted products and their simplicity.

I shy away from face soaps but this one was sent in sample size for me to try. I'm still using the sample and ordered the full size. My skin is mature and mixed Native American Asian so I was concerned it would dry out my combination skin, but it didn't strip the skin's oils and left my skin soft and clean. I also tried it on my new tattooed skin and it didn't strip the skin or irritate it in any way.

Great soap, very mild, perfectly gentle for face and especially handy for bath, because the the bar is huge!! It is a generous 130g format instead of the normal 100, so it is in fact very durable. Love the pristine smell of it, it smells of cleanness, purity itself. I find it also lenitive for little inflammations/red points that sometimes happen.

This is the best soap I have tried so far. It is even better than any body wash I have had in the past. It's gentle, but cleanses the skin thoroughly, doesn't dry my already dry and sensitive skin out, and as a bonus it evens out the tone.

The soap made my complexion more glowing and clear, and was highly worth the price. The product was true to its brand in high quality,best evident in its traditional making and results. It also arrived in quick timing, in a week's time or even less. I exceptionally recommend Wawaza products, for its excellence in quality and service.

Most soaps and cleansers dehydrate my skin and I easily get flaky and itchy areas around the mouth. This soap cleanses very thoroughly without drying and it makes my skin soft. I'm using it for four weeks now, every evening (I don't use anything but water in the morning) and I start to notice that the tone of my skin looks more even than before. I cut the soap in two pieces because I find it easer to handle.
