How to Brew

Add 1 tsp of tea leaves per cup. Add near-boiling water to teapot. Brew for 1-2 min. and serve.

Ingredients

  • Hojicha: One rounded tablespoon
  • Milk (or soy milk): Two cups.
  • Brown sugar or honey to taste.

How to make hojicha latte in 10 minutes

Directions

  1. Heat milk to a simmer in a pot.
  2. Add the hojicha.
  3. Brew for 2–3 minutes on low heat.
  4. Strain and serve.

    WAWAZA generously sent me a sample of Hojicha tea with another purchase and I enjoyed it so much that I immediately placed an order for several of their herbal teas. The tea is impeccably fresh, clean, flavorful, and delicious. I love the scent of charcoal roasting so much that I take deep breaths out of the bag every time I make tea. :) Each cup of tea is an experience that brings so much enjoyment and tranquility. I always enjoyed drinking tea sweetened, but all WAWAZA teas I enjoy unsweetened too. I strongly recommend these teas to anyone. Also, packaging is thoughtful, simple but beautiful, without waste.     I like to make lattes with it. It has a roasted flavor to it that you can taste. To me it’s almost kinda sweet. The directions are clear and simple. And they are also posted on the website along with recipes. Will order more int the future.

    Most enjoyable tea ever and also takes acidic waste products out of the body. The smell of this tea being brewed is one of the most pleasurable things in my life and drinking it is another one! My daily bliss.

    This is so different than any green tea I ever tasted. I drink it every day since its so low in caffeine. Has a full body and rich roasted aroma. I have tried cheaper kinds from Amazon but no way they can even come close to the quality of this tea.
