About Yuzu
With its distinctive zesty aroma, yuzu (Citrus junos, ゆず) is one of Japan's most recognizable citrus fruits.
About the size of a small tangerine, yuzu has a distinctive fragrance with notes of grapefruit, satsuma mandarin, bergamot, and lime.
In Japan, yuzu is used fresh, dried, or as a paste, often combined with salt and other seasonings. Its peel is also used to flavor fish and meat dishes, jams, marmalades, drinks, and desserts.
Yuzu peel extract is widely used in skincare products to help condition and replenish the skin.

subtle but refreshing
As I am writing this review it is starting to get pretty hot here in Colorado. I am enjoying this soap now, and have just learned that traditionally, a yuzu bath is more of a winter solstice event in Japan. Another subtle but refreshing artisanal soap made from the native Japanese Lemon, to be used, in my humble opinion, all year round!
