Aya Japanese Camellia Hair and Body Oil 100 ml

I rarely write reviews, but this and the rice bran oil are the most effective skincare products I’ve ever used. I’m 43 and went through early menopause at 41 as a result of chemo. My skin started aging rapidly, and I tried all kinds of things to slow/reverse the trend. These two products aren’t the only helpful products I’ve found, but they are BY FAR the best. I recently ran out and ended up going a few months without them; my skin was looking really terrible by the time my refills arrived, and 12 hrs later my skin looks and feels REMARKABLY better: plumper, firmer, moisturized, etc. in a way that is not comparable to any other oil or stand-alone product I’ve ever used on my skin. (FYI: Not sure if this is how they’re supposed to be used, but I dry-wash my face w/ the camellia oil, wipe it off with a damp washcloth, and then moisturize w/ the rice bran oil. Sometimes I mix rice bran powder w/ the camellia oil to exfoliate, but I don’t regard the powder as essential in the way the oils are.) The company is lovely too. Products are packaged w/ obvious care and the samples are wonderful.

This is the lightest oil I have found. It sinks into the skin deeply and rapidly. I live in a very dry climate so this product is an important item in my skincare regimen. After cleansing/exfoliating, and toning, I apply it twice a day. I cannot recommend this product more enthusiastically. Thank you Wawaza.

I love this oil. I use it on my body, face and hair. My skin has never been so soft. My hair feels great. I will never not be without this product.

As others have commented, this oil is great on the hair and skin. I was intrigued by the note that came with the bottle that said that this oil may also improve one's fingernails and toenails if the oil is applied regularly after bathing. For the first few months I noticed no change in my nails but around the fourth or fifth month my nails started to look healthier and nicer. I never get manicures or pedicures and in general had never paid any attention to my nails except to trim them, but I found myself staring at my bare toenails and admiring how healthy the nails looked during forward folds in my yoga classes when the head is close to the feet. So, if you would like healthier-looking fingernails and/or toenails, give this a try. It works!

High-quality product. Does a great thing for my hair and skin. I use it to do a 1st clean on my face and again as a moisturizer, along with the Rice Bran Oil. I also apply it to my hair.

After cleaning hair with funori, I regularly use 2-3 pumps of camellia oil on my hair. The results are unbelievable. It has turned my rough hair to super glossy and thick. I recommend to use this oil in combination with the tsuge comb. It gives even better results. I also use camellia oil on my face and body. Before using this, my skin was super dry. After using it pretty regularly for 2 months now, my skin feels super soft and hydrated now. It is a must use oil on your body and hair.

I loved it. It actually helped to reduce stretch marks and spots during course of weeks. Not a big fan of the smell of the product but I won't complain as its super effective. Ordered my next batch already.

I love the oil, I use 2 to 3 drops as a leave-in on my frizzy 1c hair and my hair gets more silky and shiny. Also great costumer service, very polite and sweet!

So I have been using this on my face as my night moisturizer. My skin was getting very reactive from too many harsh ingredients. It absorbs quickly and in the morning I wake up to the softest skin! I love that it feels very moisturizing but not a heavy oily feel. I will continue to use this for a ling time to come. My new favorite.

For the record, I have very curly hair, so I’m skeptical when a product claims it’s for all hair types. I decided to try this as a hair mask, and I’m pleasantly surprised. The oil does not feel greasy, and my curls sprang to life. It makes for an excellent oil to leave in overnight and then wash it in the morning. I will repurchase this item!
