How to Brew Hatomugi Cha

The following instructions are for brewing two 250 ml (8 oz) cups of Hatomugi Cha.

  1. Add 1 rounded tablespoon to 2 cups of water.
  2. Heat to a full, rolling boil.
  3. Turn the heat down and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn the heat off and wait for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain and serve hot, chilled, or over ice.
