Making a healthy, uplifting cup of organic matcha latte at home is easy, and you do not need any special tools.

Making a healthy, uplifting cup of matcha latte at home is easy, and you don't need special tools.Matcha is powdered green tea. The health benefits of matcha by far exceed those of any other type of green teas. When you drink matcha you ingest the whole tea leaf, not just the brewed water.

Ingredients

  1. 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  2. 1 cup of milk (whole or skim)
  3. Sugar or honey as needed

Directions

  1. Put matcha powder into a mug cup.
  2. Add sugar as you wish. If you wish to use honey, do it after you have added milk in the following steps.
  3. Warm up the milk
  4. Add small portion of warm milk to the mug and mix well until Matcha powder becomes pasty. Make sure the mixture is not lumpy.
  5. Keep adding the remaining milk a bit at a time and mix well. If you wish to add honey (instead of sugar) do it after you have mixed in all the milk.
