About Kamairi Variety
Kamairi is a smooth yet sophisticated tea, with a roasty and remarkably rich flavor.
Kamairi teas are rare even in Japan, accounting for about 2% of all Japanese tea production.
To make Kamairi, fresh tea leaves are skillfully dried at high heat for a few minutes, then rolled and dried in a multi-step, manual process.

How to Brew
Add one teaspoon of tea leaves per cup.- Add near-boiling water to the teapot.
- Brew for 1-2 minutes and serve.
You can add hot water again to the teapot for a second, or even a third, brewing.

Not my favorite
I like Genmaicha teas with more of a toasty flavor. This did not meet my expectations.
